Forever Evil spills over to Gotham this week in the first tie-in to the DC crossover event. “Arkham War,” written by Peter J. Tomasi and illustrated by Scot Eaton, catches us up with the inmates of Arkham Asylum and Blackgate prison as they flood the streets of Gotham city. Here’s a sneak peek into issue 1 of the 6-issue arc.
I’m not usually a fan of the DC crossover events, or tie-ins, but I enjoyed “Villain’s Month” and the one-shots of Gotham’s greatest villains. It was a different approach that gave a unique insight into the rogue’s gallery, and I’m looking forward to this mini-series and what they do with these villains. Will it be worth your money? It may depend on which side you choose.
