Young Justice has a game coming out on September 10th 2013 called Young Justice: Legacy. The game is currently expected to hit Microsoft X360, Sony PS3, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii-U, and PC on Steam. In Young Justice: Legacy, players can play as 12 heroes (Nightwing, Superboy, Aqualad, Artemis, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, Robin, Rocket, Tempest, Zatanna, Beast Boy, and Batgirl.) as they fight through a story that bridges the gap between the first 2 seasons of the show with the tag line One will rise. One will fall. One will die. Developer of the game, Little Orbit CEO, Matthew Scott talked about Young Justice:
“We wanted this to feel important. Honestly, I don’t think Greg [Weisman] and Brandon [Vietti] would have been as on board if we didn’t have these show hooks at the level of integration that we got,” Little Orbit CEO Matthew Scott told CBR in February. “As ‘Young Justice’ winds up, and obviously there’s still episodes airing every week right now, I think for us, the importance of getting this right has gone through the roof. This will likely be one of the last things that fans get to play and experience that’s got an epic, cool storyline with all the voice talent from the show. It’s important for us to get it right.”
For those who are Young Justice fans, the game will fill in the gaps of the five years on the show. Hopefully, the game will bring a nice closure to the series. See the box art below.
