There has been a bit of excitement for comics on August 29th. The fight between Batman and Black Mask is on and it will be one of Tony Daniel’s last pieces of work on Detective Comics. The featured art for Detective Comics is by Romano Molenaar who is going to do the art for Birds of Prey starting on Issue #13 to Issue #14. Hopefully, he will continue for another few issues because Molenaar is that good! It seems that there is a trend of some sort because the people who do art for an annual somehow get to do art for other Batman-related comic books. It’s like DC is previewing these artists before giving them a comic book. Justice League is showing promise with Superman and Wonder Woman having a kiss on the cover art of Issue #12. This might be Kingdom Come all over again. Superman and Wonder Woman have a baby together and Batman becomes the godfather. Well, if that’s the way the cookie is crumpling for Justice League; then screw it!
