Professor Radiums first appearance was in Batman #8 ( December 1941-January 1941 ) His real name was Henry Ross . He discovers a way to resurrect people using radium . His fellow scientists not believing him leads Henry to experiment on himself . Taking some poison, leaving the serum and instructions for his assistant. Ross does return to life , in doing so he went insane with his radioactive power and kills anyone he touches . Ross started going by the name of Prof Radium and used his new powers to commit crimes .
