Back at C2E2 last weekend there was a topic discussed by creators during the DC All Access and The New 52 panels at Chicago’s Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) . More of a tease then anything DC alumni – featuring editor-in-chief Bob Harras, editorial director Bobbie Chase, chief creative officer and writer Geoff Johns, J. Michael Straczynski, Shane Davis, David Finch, Kevin Maguire and Scott Snyder gave fans just enough to keep them wanting more without too many spoilers . Geoff Johns (chief creative officer ) dropped a small tease on the DC Free Comic Book Day issue.
Geoff Johns: “It’s a story that really sets the stage for a lot of things that are coming in DC Comics.”
He also spoke a little on Batman : Earth One, which is coming out later this year .
“It’s a very different Alfred in the book, it’s a very different Commissioner Gordon . Artist Gary Frank’s just doing the work of his career on this. I’m really, really excited about it. You’ll actually say ‘I can’t believe Alfred’s a badass.'”
