Much like the animated feature Batman: The Killing Joke playing in theaters for a special event, Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are teaming up to do it again. Special Fathom Feature: Experience a special introduction plus a never-before-seen documentary, Those Dastardly Desperados.

Fathom Events, Warner Bros. and DC Comics invite you to a special event when Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders comes to select cinemas nationwide for a special one-night event on Monday, October 10.

It’s back to the 1960s as Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by a quartet of Batman’s most fiendish foes – Penguin, The Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. This time, the four Super-Villains have combined their wicked talents to hatch a plot so nefarious that the Dynamic Duo will need to go to outer space (and back) to foil their arch enemies and restore order in Gotham City. It’s a truly fantastic adventure that will pit good against evil, good against good, evil against evil … and feature two words that exponentially raise the stakes for both sides: Replicator Ray. Holy Multiplication Tables!

Bringing these iconic animated characters to life are the voice talents of Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman).

Head back in time with Batman and Robin as they battle some of their most notorious foes, on the big screen for only one night!

This is pretty exciting. I wasn’t able to partake in B:TKJ but this will be something special for sure. If you can’t make the showing, don’t worry. The movie is available the following day on HD digital, and will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on November 1st.
