Sad news today. Seventy-eight-year-old actress Yvonne Craig, best known for her role as Batgirl in the classic 60’s Batman TV series, died on Monday. A spokesman for Craig said she passed away in her home in Pacific Palisades, surrounded by her family.
It was reported that Yvonne Craig had been suffering from breast cancer that has spread to her liver.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Aldrich, her sister, Meridel Carson, and her nephews, Christopher and Todd Carson.
