Check Out Bryan Hitch’s Widescreen Covers for Justice League of America #1

Next month, DC will launch another series featuring the adventures of the world’s greatest superheroes. Written and drawn by Bryan Hitch (JLA, The Ultimates), it’s already become apparent that this book will be something special. The most recent bit of news is that Hitch has drawn seven variant covers for the first issue featuring Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Cyborg doing battle, along with a foldout variant that combines all images.

Here’s the description of the first arc:

It’s massive widescreen JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA action and adventure from legendary writer/artist Bryan Hitch! In the extra-sized debut issue, the League comes up against an armada of aliens heading for Earth that claims to be a peaceful religious tribe. But something sinister is lurking under the surface… Something with ties to ancient Krypton!

Be sure to pick up a copy of the first oversized issue (which will retail for $5.99) on June 17. You can check out the aforementioned images below.
