‘Bad Seeds’ Is the Next Bat-Titles Crossover Event

DC announced “Bad Seeds” Batman comics crossover that will focus on Poison Ivy taking over Gotham.

At the ComicsPRO Industry Conference, DC Comics revealed some details about the crossover. Pamela Isley is now the mayor of Gotham City. Furthermore, the immortal madman Vandal Savage is Gotham’s acting-police commissioner. What mishief will the two come up with together?

According to the DC official text, Savage and his increasingly-aggressive police force has been hunting Batman and his allies. But with the Bat-family being on their heels, will set the stage for Isley to do a major power push involving transforming Gotham in to a hotbed of hostile plant-life. It all takes place on one chaotic night.

“Gotham City police commissioner Vandal Savage has declared war on the Bat-Family and flooded the streets with his private, para-militarized police army. Gotham’s new mayor, Pamela Isley, deserted by her allies both political and arcane, is about to make a last-ditch power play that will leave all of Gotham decimated by daylight. These events converge in “BAD SEEDS”, spanning a long, dark night in Gotham that threatens to turn the entire city into a primeval world of hostile plant life unlike anything on Earth for millennia, at a time when its greatest heroes are hunted and in hiding. “

“Bad Seeds” is a culmination of what’s been occurring in Batman, including Poison Ivy depicting Isley’s rise to political power. There is no creative team announced yet. However, DC provided promo art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, Cliff Rathburn, and Tomeu Morey.

“Bad Seeds” is coming out sometime in Fall 2026.
