Titans #32 brings the DC KO tie into a close, we think… But does it also bring this age of Titans to a close? Let’s discuss….

Don’t Forget to Write

We have been treated these last few weeks to an actual good tie into a big DC event. There is nothing more frustrating than reading a title during a big event and not knowing if it is before, after or during the events of said event. This title has grabbed that problem by the horns and made it all about DC KO. Titans have been on evac duty, saving good guys, bad guys and as many people as they possibly can. Which while the entire earth is terraforming into Apocalypse seems like a pretty important thing to do. You know what else happens in this issue. It ties in to another tie in! No spoilers, but it has biiiig implications for the future of the Titans. A lot of people saw it coming. Maybe it’s true….

Something New

It has been a real treat having the core Titans team of old these last few years. Every so often they reunite, fight a fight. Garth leaves, Wally leaves and some rando joins. Pretty much the same with this run. But I can’t help but love these now fully grown adults whom we’ve watched beat Deathstroke since they were like 15! This felt like a dividing, the band might be apart for a while kind of issue. So read it, shed a tear, pour some out of the homies. Next Month a new era begins with a new creative team!

Conclusion

Titans #32 is a great conclusion to this run, and to this team of Titans. I hope the next arc can match this wholesome energy and awesomeness!
