Season Two Talks for “The Penguin

Despite being labeled a “Limited Series” the show’s critical success is already getting people talking for a second season. In a brief interview with Deadline, producer Matt Reeves hinted at a follow-up season and possibly even more spin-offs from The Batman universe.

“We have talked about that. And I really am hoping to do that. But, obviously, it all comes down to finding the right idea that works for the network and works for everybody. I have a bunch of ideas that we’ve talked about — we’ve had a bunch of ideas, [producer Dylan Clark] and I have had a bunch of ideas. At the moment, the priority is to see if there is a Season 2 of The Penguin. But there are absolutely other characters that we’ve talked about doing that I would be really, really honored and excited if we had that opportunity.”

If they decide to do a season two, it is likely not going to happen until after the release of The Batman Part II. Still, Bat-Fans are absolutely stoked at the wins and when the character will appear again.

The Penguin is now streaming on HBO Max.
