AMC Releases Bat-Signal Popcorn Bucket

AMC Theaters is selling a novelty popcorn bucket shaped as the Bat-Signal that actually lights up.

In conjunction with the August 28th re-release of The Batman, AMC Theaters unveiled a Bat-Signal popcorn bucket. The bucket is pretty massive. AMC did not give official dimensions, but the bucket is big enough to hold an 85-oz large popcorn serving. It is attached to a stand as well to give the full effect.

Interestingly, the Bat-Signal design looks like a cross between the Signal from The Dark Knight and the 1989 Batman. It retains the Dark Knight design’s cylinder shape, but also the chunkiness and the stand resembles the one from the Tim Burton Batman films. The actual Bat-Logo on the Signal is the circular motif that is taken from the Burton movies.

But that is not all. You can also get a companion collectible large cup that features the silhouette of all of the movie Batmobiles! The cups are also lenticular, so when you move it around the Batmobile images “morph and move” with it.

The Bat-Signal bucket alone is $35 USD. The Batmobile cup alone is $12 USD. If you want them bundled together, that is $45 USD.

Check out more from AMC’s official description.

“On Aug. 28, as the world celebrates Batman’s 85th anniversary, AMC Theatre’s Batman 85th Popcorn Collectible Concession Vessel (CCV) beckons the Caped Crusader with a near prop quality 85-ounce light-up Bat Signal popcorn bucket (comes with a large popcorn for $34.99+tax) — and a 32-ounce lenticular (the images morph and move) drink cup with lid that comes with a large drink for $11.99+tax, while supplies last. Guests can bundle them together for $44.99+tax. Select AMC Theatres will be showing 2022’s ‘The Batman’ in Dolby Cinema at AMC, as well as a sneak peek of the HBO® Original series ‘The Penguin.'”
