Looking Ahead of Tom Taylor on ‘Detective Comics’
Taylor did not reveal much of his plot or story arc. However, the official solicitation notes that it will revolve around Thomas and Martha Wayne. Check out the solicitation:
Long ago, the murders of Thomas and Martha Wayne changed Gotham forever. But there is something you never knew about the Dark Knight’s tragic origin, which has been lying in wait to strike at Batman ever since that fateful night in Crime Alley. And now, all these years later, this ghost of Gotham’s past begins to reveal itself. Superstars Tom Taylor and Mikel Janín team up to bring you a Batman tale that will rattle the very foundations of the Dark Knight. Things may never be the same again.
Taylor also released snippets of Janin’s art for issue 1090. The art teases Martha and Thomas Wayne, as well as the Joker in a separate image.
Really excited for the first story @mikeljanin and I are telling in Detective Comics.
It goes all the way back to the beginning.
And could make Bruce Wayne question everything.
