Batman and Santa Claus: Silent Knight #3 hits stands this week and with it comes more meat to feast on. When last we left off, Krampus was fine-tuning his attacks to meet the level of our heroes. With his grievance with Klaus being explained last issue, it remains to be seen just how this all will play out.

Our main cover by Dan Mora showcases Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman in the skies protecting mankind from Harpies unleashed by Krampus. It’s an amazing moment captured during an aerial flight with Wonder Woman utilizing Santa’s Sleigh.

Your Baby Boy Will Give Sight To A Blind Man

There’s so much breaking open in this third chapter that it boggles the mind. While I adore all of the characters showing up, I adore the fact that the story doesn’t become convoluted or lost amidst all the different characters even more. There aren’t egregious breaks from the main focal point of the story and, even when there are, it only serves to add sprinkles on top.

I look forward to enjoying watching the tale unwrap the behind-the-scenes puppet master if that is indeed the story Jeff Parker has planned for us.

The artwork is, yet again, out of this world, and I enjoy how every character is depicted; from all the facial expressions to how masterfully and wonderfully each character is portrayed. What waits around the corner for our heroes and Klaus remains to be seen but it will be an enjoyable sleigh ride.

Conclusion

Batman and Santa Claus: Silent Knight #3 has brought us to the brink of the wonder-wall of the mystic and magical, with legends breathing themselves back to life. We’re nearing the end of the line for this short series, but having woven into the Knightmare escapades was a beautiful path to choose. I look forward to the next issue!
