DC Announces ‘Batman ’89’ Live in Concert

DC and Warner Bros. have announced a concert tour of screenings of Batman ’89 live in concert.

Amongst unforgettable performances from Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker, people will forever remember Danny Elfman’s musical score. Now fans will be given the chance to relive the magic of 1989’s Batman with a live orchestra performing the score while the movie plays on-screen.

The special event tour is to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the film.

The tour starts at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, on January 13, 2024. It will continue to hit cities across America before leaping to international locations. The tour will top off with performances in Paris, France, and London, England. It is probably appropriate that Batman ’89 live in concert concert will end its run in London, which makes sense as the vast majority of the movie was shot there decades earlier.

DC in Concert has had many similar performances across its library of DC superhero films. Most recently, they created tours featuring live orchestra performances for The Batman and Justice League.

The concert tour does not start until January 2024, but you can get tickets now at all the locations here.
