DC Announces Titans: Beast World Crossover

Tom Taylor has just announced an amazing crossover happening with Titans: Beast World releasing this year! The cherry on top? The legend that is Jim Lee will be adding his own talent to the series.

An intergalactic Sea Star, a conqueror like Starro The Conqueror, but far more threatening, is causing havoc on Earth and there is only one hero that can save the day: Beast Boy! While Superman, Wonder Woman, and Starfire are powerless against The Necrostar, Nightwing, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy fight together to save humanity.

Can Garfield Logan defeat the ancient evil? Will Amanda Waller take advantage of the chaos? Can the planet they’re trying to save, survive all of the Superheroes and villains being transformed into ferocious beasts?

This new crossover, being brought to life by writer Tom Taylor and artist Ivan Reis, will begin with the release of Tales of the Titans #4 in late October.

Taylor says:

I’m beyond excited to bring this DC crossover event to life starting in November with our new Titans: Beast World series, featuring art by the incomparable Ivan Reis.

“Beast World” will also thread the needle between the current series that I’m writing about the Titans.

Friends will fall. Super Heroes will rise, and nothing will ever be the same again. Earth is about to become…Beast World.

After suffering a devastating attack from Deathstroke, and losing an eye in the fight, Beast Boy barely survived the events of Dark Crisis. Unfortunately, his streak of bad luck has not ended just yet as he now has to face one of the more dangerous beings in existence.

The premise of this Titans: Beast World crossover sounds amazing. After everything that’s happened to the team, BB will need to find his courage or lose himself to his own power.

It will be interesting to see what new chaos The Necrostar will bring to Earth and how the heroes will fight their way through this. We can’t wait!
