GUESS Originals Launch Batman Collection

GUESS Originals have teamed up with Warner Bros and DC Comics to release a brand-new Batman collection for fall 2022.

Centering around the two heritage brands, the lineup taps into the superhero franchise’s iconic history by tailoring the hero’s vintage graphics to its iconic key pieces.

Made up of 21 items, the range features everyday staples such as sweaters, college tees and patched varsity jackets.

A Batman storyboard is printed on the line’s trucker jacket and carpenter jeans while another iteration receives a green wash makeover. The range also includes a green denim Riddler jacket and matching jeans. The Riddler jacket is my favorite piece in the collection. The embroidered question marks on the back are nice and subtle and not too over the top.

Standout pieces include reversible items, such as a vest and bucket hat, that reveal a comic page when flipped. The lineup also features a printed active set and tee for kids. Elsewhere, accessories like logo socks and caps round out the collection. I love the bag but, I do think it would look a bit nicer if it was a handbag instead of a large shopper.

The stores have also been updated with Batman-themed displays. To highlight the collaboration, the window showcased a Batman and Robin vintage graphic surrounded by the brand’s logo. Meanwhile, a series of stickers, action figures and comic books can also be spotted inside the store. A vintage newspaper stand that distributes a special “Guess Daily” makes a notable feature, completing the entire GUESS Originals x Batman store experience.

I’m a big GUESS fan, so I absolutely love this collection; I do however wish that the sizes were bigger. The women’s pieces only go up to a large which is a UK size 12/US 16. I am however tempted to order the men’s varsity bomber jacket.

The GUESS Originals x Batman collection is now available to order from the GUESS website.
