New Batman: Streets Of Gotham Fine Art Print

An enchanting and evocative new fine art print titled Batman: Streets of Gotham by artist Dustin Nguyen is now available for pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles.

Gotham nights

I’ve been a sucker for water colors ever since pre-school, but I don’t think I’ve seen a piece of comic related art that utilizes the medium as beautifully as Batman: Streets of Gotham in a long while. The colors and brush strokes really stand out in the details: the folds of Batman’s cape stretched by the wind, the weather stained gargoyle, the bat-signal projected over the wavering clouds. I personally think its gorgeous and the perfect thing to lift your spirits if any of the current major storylines have got you down.

The pitch

Sideshow Art Prints presents the Batman™: Streets of Gotham Fine Art Print, a moody and mysterious DC Comics art print by artist Dustin Nguyen.

Darkness envelops Gotham City — from the physical shadows to the symbolic corruption in the hearts of criminals. Only Batman can thrive in that darkness and still bring light to those living in distress. This foreboding portrait of Bruce Wayne’s heroic alter ego captures that duality, with Nguyen’s signature watercolor style emphasizing the danger and salvation that waits above the streets. As Batman observes from the lofty perch of a gargoyle, the Bat-Signal shines bright behind him, casting a light of warning, of promise, and of justice over the skyline clouded by fear.

Originally created as the cover to Batman: Streets of Gotham #1 (2009), written by Paul Dini for DC Comics, this comic book collectible is now available to fans in a fine art presentation. Each Batman: Streets of Gotham Fine Art Print features an authorized, automated artist signature and an embossed Seal of Authenticity as a part of the limited edition of 350 pieces. DC Comics collectors won’t want to miss a chance to add this Batman artwork to their walls!
