Sideshow Release World’s Finest Team Portraits by Jim Lee

Sideshow Collectibles have recently released two companion World’s Finest Team Portraits of Superman and Batman, by the amazing Jim Lee. These two iconic pieces, “For Tomorrow” and “Knightwatch”, of Supes and Batsy protecting their homes, will look amazing together and by themselves.

For Tomorrow” was originally a cover for Jim Lee and Brian Azzarello’s 2004-2005 series Superman: For Tomorrow. In this story arc, a million people around the world vanished, including Lois Lane. The Man of Steel was left feeling hopeless and lost. Although the plot itself earned a lot of criticism and contained some pretty obvious continuity errors, this piece of art has become rather beloved… especially when placed side by side with the Batman version.

Used as the cover for 2002-2004 volume 1 #608 of Batman: Hush by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee, “Knightwatch” has become iconic for the Caped Crusader and has been reimagined many times since. Unlike Superman: For Tomorrow, this graphic novel has been highly praised, made into an animated movie, and even inspired other directors and creators. The art, of course, is fantastic, but the storyline and plot twists are what kept everyone on their toes.

The “For Tomorrow Mighty Minis Gallery Wrapped Canvas” features:

  • Limited Edition of 1500
  • Fine-art print on canvas
  • Gallery wrapped and ready to hang
  • Unsigned but includes an embedded printed signature of Jim Lee
  • Size: 16″ x 10.5″

The “Knightwatch Mighty Minis Gallery Wrapped Canvas” features:

  • Limited Edition of 1500
  • Fine-art print on canvas
  • Gallery wrapped and ready to hang
  • Unsigned but includes an embedded printed signature of Jim Lee
  • Size: 16″ x 10.5″
