DC FanDome is technically over, but there’s still lots to discuss about the event and every tidbit of info it released on upcoming films, shows, and games! One of the most anticipated pieces of content to be released at FanDome was the second trailer for The Batman. Oddly enough, however, the information released for the trailer listed it as 2 minutes and 36 seconds long. That’s kind of long for a trailer of a film, but that’s not what’s odd. The length provided to fans before the FanDome turned out to be incorrect.
Delightfully, I’m happy to report that pure filmed aspects of the trailer are to the aforementioned length. However, The Batman‘s growing logo tacked onto the end of the trailer actually added another 2 seconds! This means that the second trailer is a total of 12 seconds longer than the one released at last year’s DC FanDome.
As Twitter user DcKerala pointed out above, we don’t want a trailer that’s too long or reveals too much of the film. This length and what is revealed seems just right, although I hesitate to say more than that!
There’s a lot to unpack from the new trailer, which we won’t get into here, but we are excited all the same! Here it is again, for anyone who missed it, so be sure to check it out and drop your opinions and comments below!
