Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: The Game – Deluxe Edition

Cryptozoic Entertainment are back with a deluxe board game, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: The Game! The creators describe the new release as:

Instead of traditional leveling up, this is a game of attrition. Batman comes out of retirement and tries to survive one final gauntlet, facing old and new villains…and even his most powerful ally, Superman! It is playable as four standalone missions — including easy and hard modes and a 1v1 mode for Batman vs. villain battles – or one epic playthrough where results of each mission carry over to the next, with each featuring its own unique rules, allies, abilities, and epic boss battles.

You Are The Dark Knight

For lovers of board games and puzzles, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: The Game will make a great gift, or even just a new pretty addition to a collection.

Originally starting on Kickstarter, this board game has come very far; with lots of tasks and challenges, no two play-throughs will be the same with 18 of your own miniatures to choose from. Designed using Frank Miller’s distinct art style, even if you aren’t playing it, you’ll have something awesome to look at. The board game also includes unique Batarang dice! You have to admit that that’s pretty cool.

The deluxe edition also comes with a hinged lid with a magnetic clasp, so it can be displayed alongside the box. It will also look amazing on bookshelves, or anywhere else you plan to display it.

The board game includes:
