‘The Flash’ Revisits Wayne Manor

Production has started on The Flash, and set photos have revealed the film will visit Wayne Manor, from 1989’s Batman.

The Lincolnite revealed early set photos on their Twitter feed. The images show production crews setting up at Burghley House in Lincolnshire, England. This location also doubled for Stately Wayne Manor in the Tim Burton Batman films. It appears that The Flash will revisit the Manor for their film.

As one can see from the pictures, the crew just started prepping for the shoot. The Warner Bros. truck seems to carry the equipment necessary to dress Wayne Manor up. Due to it being early in the production process, it should not be surprising that the two main actors Ezra Miller or Michael Keaton have yet to be spotted on-set. However, now that the media is aware of the shooting location, perhaps fans will soon see pics of the two actors around Bruce Wayne’s stately home.

This news shouldn’t come as a huge surprise for Bat-fans, as much as it’s confirmation of Keaton’s role in the film. As previously reported, the legendary ’89 Dark Knight officially signed on to return in the role that he played in Batman and Batman Returns. It only makes sense that we also see a few other aspects of those movies also return in The Flash.

Now the question remains, will we see other locations from the Keaton Batman films? Will some Gotham City sets that resemble the gothic, industrial look of the 1989 version be revisited too? Or will we see the Bat-Cave or the Batmobile from the movies?

The Flash is currently slated for a November. 4, 2022 release date.
