With the streaming service DC Universe transitioning into a digital comics only service, all of the DC movies and TV shows needed a new home. The logical choice, of course, is HBO Max. The Warner Bros. owned streaming service will be the home of Zack Snyder’s Justice League in March and already features a wealth of DC content. Now, the service will be adding a bunch of classic DC and Batman related movies and animated series.
The full series of Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond will be added to the service on January 1st. Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises will also be added to the service at the start of the new year.
HBO Max will also be adding various animated movies to their lineup, as well. These include Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Batman: Bad Blood, Batman: Death in the Family and Batman: Hush.
Expanding beyond the borders of Gotham City, DC fans will also be able to experience Green Lantern (2011), Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, Superman: Doomsday, Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Superman Returns.
Will you be jumping on any of these Batman and DC titles come 2021? Personally, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is the only DC Animated Universe film I’m missing so I’ll be sure to give that a viewing.
