Gal Gadot Says Experience With Joss Whedon “Wasn’t The Best”

Article by Chris Foti

Despite most of our efforts to move on from the theatrical release of Justice League, news just keeps popping up making it impossible. Earlier this year, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher accused Joss Whedon of “abusive and unprofessional” behavior. Whedon, of course, took over as director and writer of the film when Zack Snyder left due to family tragedy. He was responsible for many of the re-writes and re-shoots that ended up making the film into a Frankenstein monster of a movie. It now seems that Fisher wasn’t the only star to have issues with the Avengers director, as Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, has come out to state she didn’t have the “best experience” with Whedon either.

I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth. I wasn’t there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon – I had my own experience with [him], which wasn’t the best one, but I took care of it there, and when it happened.

I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it, but I’m happy for Ray to go up and say his truth.

Ray Fisher’s allegations against Whedon began a full investigation into the matter. Last week, WarnerMedia concluded the investigation and said that “remedial action has been taken.” Gadot also provided testimony for WarnerMedia in the investigation.

I know that they’ve done a very thorough investigation, just by how much time I spent with them.

While the term “remedial action” really doesn’t tell us much, unfortunately the Princess Diana actress wasn’t able to elaborate on it.

I don’t know what that means either. I’m curious to know what’s going to be the outcome.

The League Unites… Again.

Hopefully Ray, Gal and any other actors or actresses on the Justice League set are happy with the conclusions of the investigation, and maybe Zack Snyder’s Justice League snuffing the theatrical version out of existence will also give them some peace.

Gal Gadot reprised the role of Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman 1984, which was released yesterday on HBO Max and in theaters. She and Ray Fisher will also be seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League in March, also on HBO Max.
