Batman Parody Video To Help Raise Money For Charity

Article by Eric Lee

Agents of SHIELD actor Jeff Ward plays Batman in a parody video to help raise money for workers affected by COVID-19.

In the video, Ward plays Batman as he films a video for his GoFundMe page to raise money for his crime fighting expeditions. According to Batman in the video, Alfred came down with COVID-19 and left all the financial logistics and to Bruce. Unfortunately, apparently Bruce is really bad at managing his finances, and has lost all his money to some bad investments.

Now the Batman’s traded his Batmobile for a more practical black sedan. Also, he now works out at the local park instead of the Bat Cave. Batman is now starting the Fund the Bat crowd share campaign to raise funds.

The parody video is raising money for a real-life GoFundMe page. The real-life Fund the Bat campaign is donations for film crew workers who are unemployed due to the pandemic. The proceeds go to Motion Picture Television Fund’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.

Even Ward’s Agents of SHIELD co-star Clark Gregg is promoting the video on his Twitter.

Check out the parody video below. And do not forget to donate to Fund the Bat here.
