George Clooney Was Not Invited To Be In ‘The Flash’

Article by Chris Foti

In a recent interview, George Clooney reflected on his time on Batman & Robin. As the lead actor in the film, he fully accepted any responsibility for the film’s failure. It’s likely due to this, that Clooney says he has not been invited to be in The Flash.

As you may know, the upcoming Flash film, starring Ezra Miller, is looking to be a wild ride, literally. It seems like we are going to be traveling to different multiverses and timelines. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck are allegedly returning to their respective Batman roles, with rumors of Christian Bale potentially coming back too.

One Batman you will almost certainly won’t see is George Clooney’s. When asked if he is also reprising the role, Clooney responded with:

[laughs] It’s funny – you’ll notice they didn’t call me! Somehow I didn’t get that call. They did not ask for my nipples. Listen, there are certain things you never know. This one, I know [laughs].

Clooney did go on to say it “would be fantastic” to see Keaton in the Batsuit again, and I’m not going to lie, if we’re doing an Into the Spider-Verse take on Batman, I’m kind of all in on Clooney coming back in a fun cameo. Especially given that he technically plays the same version of Batman Keaton does. They could really have fun with that.

DC and WB have already stated that they are embracing the Multiverse across all media, so why not include some of the wackier parts of DC on film?

Would you like to see George Clooney reprise the Batman role in The Flash? Let us know!
