‘Deathstroke’ Actor Joe Manganiello Hopes Full Scene Will Be Included In Snyder Cut

Article by John Hammond

Joe Manganiello, who DC fans all know thanks to his appearance in Justice League, is hoping that his full turn as Deathstroke will be included in the upcoming Snyder Cut of the film.

Manganiello was recently talking to Collider about his role in new, twisted superhero movie, Archenemy. While he couldn’t talk about the Snyder Cut, he did say that he hopes the full scene will be included when the 4-part event is released next year.  While speaking of his new movie, it was obvious that the subject of the Snyder Cut of Justice League would crop up:

They’re gonna go crazy, and they’re gonna come back at me with whatever I say.

It’s clear that his appearance at the end of the original release of Justice League struck a chord with fans. However, despite the promise, the next entry in in the DCEU franchise didn’t happen. Even though fans, quite rightly, want to see more from Manganiello as the antihero, Deathstroke, the actor knows that whatever happens is out of his hands, but it’s very possible that all the footage will make it in to the new release.

If I was a part of it, it wouldn’t be my place to announce that. That would be Zack’s place. So, whether or not that’s happening, that’s an answer that is below my NDA level, or whatever you wanna call it.  On my social media, I talked about how there was an original end credits sequence that was altered for the release of Justice League.  Once Batman was cancelled, they altered that scene. So, here you go, but I wrote about that on my social media. There’s an original scene that will be restored to what it was originally.

Exciting times for fans of the DC Movie Universe and certainly for those who are fans of the Deathstroke character. I personally hope that we will see the full scene, I was certainly intrigued by his albeit, short appearance.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you want to see more of Deathstroke?  Please let us know.
