Curran Walters Approves of Red Hood Suit For ‘Titans’

Article by Chris Foti

In August, at the DC FanDome event, Titans announced that Barbara Gordon, the Scarecrow and Red Hood would be appearing in Season 3.

Red Hood, of course, is really Jason Todd, the second Robin. Curran Walters has already been playing Jason on Titans for two seasons, and is ready to make the transition from Robin to Red Hood in Season 3. Titans will not be going with the classic story of the Joker killing Jason, so there’ll be no being brought back from the dead for this Boy Wonder.

Titans will be taking Red Hood’s origins in a different direction. Instead of dying at the hands of Joker, Jason becomes obsessed with taking down the Titans after their fallout at the end of Season 2. This causes him to cease being Robin and become the Red Hood.

Walters sent a tweet out this week, proclaiming his approval of the first ever live-action suit for Red Hood.

Titans was originally a DC Universe exclusive. However, last week DC announced DC Universe will be rebranded as DC Universe Infinite. It will become a premium digital comic book service, beginning in January 2021. DC premium video content will be migrated to HBO Max, which is where Titans Season 3 will premiere.
