Zack Snyder Teases ‘Justice League’ Sequences

Article by Eric Lee

Director Zack Snyder gave some sneak peeks of what fans can expect from his director’s cut of Justice League.

On Twitter, Snyder broke down exactly what will be different in his version of Justice League. He claimed that main villain Steppenwolf’s design will be tweaked. There will also be more Knightmare sequences, referencing the dream sequence from Batman V Superman. Furthermore, he will reunite with Junkie XL for the film score and Kevin Costner to play a Pa Kent cameo.

He also gave updates on the movie’s progress. He is “deep” in the visual effects work and that there will be a tease coming before the upcoming DC Fan Dome event.

‘No Compromise’

Most importantly, Zack Snyder indicated that the studios will be hands-off in the filmmaking process. Many fans believed that after the muted reception of Batman V Superman, the studio execs leaned on Snyder to “lighten the tone” of Justice League.  However, Snyder’s comments seem to indicate that will not be the case for the new version of the movie.

Finally, when a fan asked Snyder if Green Lantern can make a possible appearance, the director responded with a winking emoji. This coy response seems to point towards at least a Green Lantern cameo.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
