Zack Snyder Teases More of his ‘Justice League’ for DC FanDome

Article by Adam Poncharoensub

Zack Snyder continues to break the Internet with good news that fanboys have been dying for, ever since the disappointment of the theatrical cut of Justice League. In case you didn’t know, Zack Snyder shattered the web and the collective fanboy psyche when he announced that the #SnyderCut was happening. The official title is Zack Snyder’s Justice League and it will premiere exclusively on HBO Max next year. Afterward, in the midst of the quarantine, DC announced a massive virtual convention known as DC FanDome. A month after the big announcement, we got our first piece of “unseen” footage from the new cut along with a tease of ZS’s Justice League for DC FanDome. Unseen is in quotes, because technically we’ve seen photos of it.

The teaser for Zack Snyder’s Justice League which hit the internet clocks in at about 30 seconds in length, and in it we see Diana exploring some ancient ruins. There, she discovers some panels foretelling Darkseid, underneath Luthenberg’s demented voiceover. It quickly cuts to actual footage of Darkseid and his armies.

While we don’t see a whole lot, it’s amazingly satisfying to see footage of pictures that Snyder has shared. The director has been very active on Vero, constantly posting photos of scenes that we never saw in the theatrical cut. Diana in the ruins, the Darkseid panel, and the photo of Darkseid and his armies have all been previous released. So seeing them unfold on screen is pretty wonderful.

Snyder shared the teaser on Twitter a few days ago. He made sure to add a caption that’s almost more of a tease than the clip itself.

So yes, we’ve now had our first look at Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and, at the same time, Snyder has made sure to let us know that there’s more to come. Simple, but incredibly effective teasing for more of Zack Snyder’s Justice League at the DC FanDome.

DC FanDome starts on August 22, 2020, at 10AM PDT. Be sure to attend for more of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which will premiere on HBO Max in 2021.
