Harley Quinn show runner Patrick Schumacker revealed that the show has not been renewed for season three yet.

Show producers Schumacker, Justin Halpern, and Dean Lorey revealed the news during a quarantine watch party. On Twitter, one fan requested the villain Black Mask to appear in season three. Schumacker responded, stating that the show has not been picked-up yet.

‘Harley’s Future

The status of the show remains unknown. Schumacker’s comments have lined up with Halpern’s. Halpern previously stated that  perhaps part of the reason why there is no confirmation yet is due to the impending launch of the HBO Max streaming service.

While it is unknown if the show will be renewed for another season, it seems fairly likely. There already is a rather large Twitter following for #renewharley. No doubt many fans love the Harley Quinn/ Poison Ivy relationship as depicted on the show. And so far, the show’s has enjoyed a lot of fanfare and critical success. Perhaps, Harley Quinn can even find a new home at HBO Max.

New episodes of Harley Quinn air every Friday on the DC Universe streaming service.
