Because of this DC have moved up publication of the art, which now appear on the cover of Batman #92!

New Punchline Variant Cover for Batman #94 to Come from Francesco Mattina

DC is taking a bit of the sting out of any fans getting pranked on April Fool’s Day by giving them access to Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s breathtaking variant cover featuring Punchline a whole two issues early! The cover will now be a variant for Batman #92 instead of the originally planned issue #94.

Since its reveal a few weeks ago, this cover has only served to turn up the heat and interest in this mysterious character following her initial cameo appearances in Batman #89 on February 19, as well as in issue #3 of Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen, on sale now at comic book stores and participating online retailers (Spoiler Alert: Punchline is not a fan of “Apex Lex’s” former bodyguard, Mercy Graves).

“Their Dark Designs,” the debut story arc from writer James Tynion IV and artist Guillem March, continues to reveal the plans of Gotham City’s newest villain, The Designer! This mysterious crime master is planning the greatest heist in Gotham’s history and he’s enlisted the aid of the city’s most evil villains!
