Cast of ‘Birds Of Prey’ Surprises Fans at DC Universe NYC Screening

Harley Quinn’s emancipation is at hand, as she, Black Canary, Cassandra Cain, and Renee Montoya take on Roman Sionis a.k.a. Black Mask in Birds of PreyAhead of the theatrical release, DC Universe hosted fan screenings in 30 cities across the United States. At the New York City screening on February 4th, there was a special appearance for fans in attendance from the Birds of Prey themselves!

Ahead of the theatrical release of Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), DC UNIVERSE hosted advanced screenings for subscribers on Tuesday and Wednesday. With many dressed up as their favorite characters including Harley Quinn, members of the digital subscription service flocked to theaters for special screenings which took place in over 30 cities across the country.

DC UNIVERSE members attending the screening in New York’s Times Square also received a special appearance from the cast including Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), Rosie Perez (Renne Montoya), Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain) and Ewan McGregor (Roman Sionis) who joined fans to celebrate the femme force team’s big-screen debut. Times Square fans also had the opportunity to step into Harley Quinn’s living quarters and a Harley Quinn-shaped dome filled with confetti for the perfect photo-opp!

Other participating locations also gifted attending DC UNIVERSE members with a one-of-a-kind Birds of Prey collectible pin of Harley Quinn’s mallet.
