‘Batman: Last Knight On Earth’ Trailer Hits The Internet

Article by Steve J. Ray

Over the last few months several DC books have recieved cool video trailers. Under The Moon: A Catwoman Tale and Dear Justice League are two Young Adult Batman-related graphic novels, but the Batman: Last Knight On Earth Trailer is the first DC Black label video clip.

This three part tale will be the culmination of the Batman arc that Scott Snyder has been telling since his critically acclaimed New 52 run on the main Batman title. It continued into All-Star Batman, Dark Nights: Metal, and The Batman Who Laughs.

Last Knight On Earth will see Snyder reunited with fan-favorite artist Greg Capullo. This is very fitting, as Capullo was the artist on Snyder’s New 52 Batman, where this journey began.

Last Knight On Earth

Images and story details have already emerged which really have fans excited… or possibly even scared. This side of Batman is tantalisingly terrifying, as is the thought of a young Bruce Wayne who seems to be the one who murdered his parents.

This Batman: Last Knight On Earth Trailer is the icing on the excitement cake. The juddery 2D animation adds to the feeling of disjointedness and insanity.

What does everyone out there think? Has this trailer further whetted your appetites?

Batman: Last Knight On Earth #1 is set to hit comic book stores on May29th.
