With what feels like months of rumors, could we possibly now have positive confirmation that Ben Affleck has passed on the cowl?
A tweet sent out by Ben appears to confirm this. The message links to a news story about him passing the torch to the next generation of Bruce Wayne. He also states that hes excited for The Batman in Summer 2021 and to see Matt Reeves vision come to life.
Although both Warner Bros. or Matt Reeves have yet to comment, it looks like we will be seeing a new Dark Knight after all. With news that The Batman is set for a 2021 release, I think its a safe bet we will hear soon as to who will be taking on the role, moving forward.
