Sideshow Collectibles ‘DC Super Powers’ Maquette Trinity Statues Available for Pre-Order

Ahoy, collectors! One of the largest merchants of collectibles these seven seas have ever witnessed is ready to peddle their wares once more. Unrelated pirate talk aside, Sideshow Collectibles has some gorgeous statues to sell to the most ardent collectors of superhero stuff.

In a new line of maquette statues (Don’t worry. Despite 16 years of schooling, I had to Google the word too.), Sideshow is teaming up with Tweeterhead studios to bring fans some beautiful new statues in their Super Powers line of collectibles.

Available for pre-order now are maquette statues of the Holy Trinity of DC comics: Wonder Woman, Superman, and of course, Batman. Each character retains the most recognizable and iconic look for which they are known. There’s no mistaking these heroes and it warms my heart to look on such creations with wonderful reverence for the past. All three heroes stand atop highly detailed pedestals, immortalized in glory… with sculpted accessoriess to assist.

Holy Trinity of DC

Wonder Woman will be available first, with an estimated shipping date between September and October of this year. Wonder Woman is 13.5 inches tall (342.9mm), equipped with her lasso of truth, shield, sword, and tiara. Princess Diana stands atop what looks like ancient Greek ruins. The statue is the least expensive of the bunch at $249.99. You can pre-order here.

Second up, is the Big Blue Boy-Scout, Superman. He is expected to be in your hands between October and November 2018. Supes sports his trademark spit curl, classic S-shield, and his highly contentious red trunks on the outside. The Man of Steel stands triumphant on shards of ice, which you can imagine would be at the highest point of his Fortress of Solitude. This statue stands at 17 inches tall (431.8mm). Supes is going for the hefty price tag of $259.99 and is available for pre-order here.

And lastly, the one for which we are all gathered here is the Dark Knight. Batman is expected to be available about a full calendar from now, between July and September of 2019. The tallest of the three, Batman sits comfortably at 18 inches tall (457.2mm) and a with higher price tag of $274.99. From the look of him, it’s worth it. Batman appears in his beloved blue and grey costume, yellow eclipse Bat-symbol on his chest, white eyes, and trunks on the outside. Batman stands omnipresent and brooding on a insanely well-crafted gargoyle. Batman is available for pre-order here.

Together, that’s about $785.00, but why wouldn’t you want the whole set to adorn a display case or a mantle? Truly beautiful works of art for fans of the classic looks. Be sure to save up for them.
