AMC Cancel Kevin Smith’s ‘Comic Book Men’ Show

Kevin Smith is one of the most popular and famous names in geek culture. Most people will know him for his work as Silent Bob in the Jay and Silent Bob films.

Since 2011, Smith has had his own show on AMC called Comic Book Men. The series follows Smith and co-hosts; Walt Flanagan, Bryan Johnson, Mike Zapcic and Ming Chen, as they attempt to run Smith’s New Jersey based comic book shop. Worry not fans, as the cast of Comic Book Men are heading to The Smodcast Network. Reminiscing about their show, the cast will continue to entertain fans with their knowledge and hilarity.

The Batman Connection

Smith has been very vocal about his love for Batman over the last few years. Even having his own podcast about The Dark Knight, Fatman on Batman where he talks about all things Batman. Much like our little site reports on.

Having written multiple comics for DC, including a couple of runs on Batman. Not only has he written comics, but also commentated over a few of DC’s movie productions, as well as directing an episode in Season 4 of The Flash.

Smith has been involved with all things Batman for quite a while now and he will also most likely continue to be.
