‘Nightwing’ Director Excited About DC Films New Direction

Chris McKay, The LEGO Batman Movie and Nightwing director has been very vocal on Twitter, constantly conversing with fans about the upcoming Nightwing production. While there is no new information to bring about his movie, McKay did respond to a tweet on Saturday, stating that he was excited by the new direction that Walter Hamada is taking DC Films in.

New Direction On The Horizon

Hamada was promoted from production executive at Warner Bros. New Line, to the new head of DC films in January. Taking the role from Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. The latter stepped down from the role of DC’s chief creative officer earlier this month.

With plenty of productions in the works, such as Shazam, Wonder Woman 1984 and Matt Reeves’ The Batman; it seems that McKay was right. That’s not all that DC Films and Warner Bros. have coming up, though. There are plenty of other titles, the previously mentioned Nightwing. A solo Batgirl movie, as well as a potential Birds of Prey collaboration. These don’t even scratch the surface of the titles DC Films has coming out.

Keep your eyes firmly on the horizon folks. The next few years are sure to be nothing short of spectacular!
