Kevin Smith on Batman

Smith is most famous as the director of his Jay and Silent Bob movies. He also has an illustrious comic book writing career. He wrote some of the most popular issues of Daredevil, where he also garnered the infamous reputation for being extremely late. In 2009, he moved over to DC to write two Batman mini-series: Batman: Cacophony and Batman: The Widening Gyre.

More recently, Smith has focused on his podcast Fatman on Batman. Despite the name, it is not exclusively about Batman, but a general pop culture podcast. However, Smith is undisputedly a huge Bat-fan. Smith named his daughter Harley after Harley Quinn.
