‘Justice League’ Box Office Update: Week 5

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi opening, Justice League managed to pull in $4.2 million at the domestic box office.

The superhero flick now stands at a $219.5 North American total. With that being said, Justice League‘s audience attendance fell 56.9% from the previous weekend. However, this is expected since Star Wars dominates the same demographics groups as the DC team-up film.

Overseas, the movie pulled in an additional $5.3 million in 56 foreign markets. This pushes the international total to $414.5 million. When added all together, Justice League has the worldwide gross of $634 million.

‘Justice League’ In Light of ‘Star Wars’

Now that the box office juggernaut that people call Star Wars is now unleashed, where does Justice League stand? Unfortunately, hope quickly dwindles for the League since Star Wars will undoubltedly eat into their market share. It will be difficult for the DC flick to make much more at the box office. This means that the film’s gross is more or less going to plateau within the next week or two.

Justice League is now playing in theaters.
