‘Justice League’ Director Zack Snyder Will Not Return

Since leaving the production of Justice League due to a family issue rumors have circulated about director Zack Snyder’s role in the completion of the movie. Snyder left during filming and much of the post production work still needed to be completed.

Joss Whedon stepped in to complete the movie at the request of Warner Bros. Since taking over there have been questions about the influence he would have over the final movie. There have been extensive re-shoots, rumors of a new ending and Danny Elfman has replaced Junkie XL as the composer.

During an interview with WIRED, Snyder has confirmed his status in regards to the final stages of the film. It appears that he will not be returning in any capacity.

“I’m at a place where I feel excited about it and I’m happy for my guys and I love these people that are working on it, and they’re my family and I think they’re doing an amazing job. But I’ve kind of just let them do their thing.”

Justice League united.

A positive sign as the movie nears its release is that both the directors are united. Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder have not said a single negative word about each other, Ben Affleck has also come out and stated that this movie is the work of two directors sharing a vision.

Everyone involved in Justice League seems to be committed to making this movie work under very difficult circumstances. It will be interesting to see the final form Justice League takes on its release in November.
