Comic Creator Len Wein Passed Away at Age 69

Comic book legend Len Wein passed away September 10, 2017 at the age of 69 after an extended hospital stay.

Comic Book Industry Great

Wein was a comic book industry staple who turned in great runs from both DC and Marvel Comics. He was born in New York City on June 12, 1948. Wein wrote Teen Titans as his first professional comic book work. Since then, he has gone on to do memorable runs on Justice League of America, The Incredible Hulk, The Amazing Spider-Man, The New Teen Titans, and Batman. Wein was also a writer for Batman: The Animated Series. He wrote the scripts for Off Balance, Blind as a Bat, and my personal favorite, Moon of the Wolf. The Swamp Thing and-most famously-Wolverine and the All-New, All-Different X-Men were co-created by Wein. He also served as the editor for Watchmen.

Wein is survived by his wife, Christine Valada, and several children.
