“The War of Jokes and Riddles,” Interlude

Writer: Tom King

Artist: Clay Mann

Aptly titled “The Ballad of Kite-Man,” Batman #27 looks extremely…interesting? Considering all of the strange and seemingly unknown villains who are getting revamped as of late (Calendar Man, Cluemaster), it made some sense for Kite-Man to be next. It might seem strange though that his introduction comes in this interlude issue of “The War of Jokes and Riddles” right as things are starting to heat up. Either way though, these few preview pages look super promising and like this could be a really solid addition to the latest Batman arc. We have Clay Mann jumping on board for pencils, along with Danny Miki and John Livesay providing inks and Gabe Eltaeb giving us color.

Batman #27 is available from July 19th anywhere that comics are sold! Be sure to pick up a copy and let us know what you thought!
