‘DC Universe Original Movies: 10th Anniversary Collection’

Coming out on August 15th in Digital, and Blu-ray™ November 7th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, and DC Entertainment will release DC Universe Original Movies: 10th Anniversary Collections to celebrate a decade of heroic animation. A comprehensive box set of all 30 films, 5 animated shorts, new special features, and exclusive collectibles are coming out to Blu-ray on November 7th, 2017, 10 days before Justice League hits the big screen.

The entire 30-film box set will be available on Digital starting August 15th, 2017. What started in 2007 with Superman Doomsday continued on an epic storyline, filling our hearts with gorgeous narratives, art, and voice acting inspired by iconic DC Universe story arcs. All films are produced by  DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, pulling from legendary tales. Films such as Superman/Batman Apocolypse (inspired by the gifted Jeph Loeb Superman/Batman Comics), Justice League: The New Frontier, Gods and Monsters, Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and others films inspired by the New 52 timelines such as Batman vs Robin and its Court of Owls along with Justice League: War where the heroes are re-introduced to each other in the reboot New 52 timeline. I have no doubt in my mind these movies are what reignited many hearts into DC and one of the catalysts of why we are getting a fulfilling DC Cinematic Universe.

The DC Universe Original Movies: 10th Anniversary Collection will include all 30 films (listed below) from Superman Doomsday to the all-new Batman and Harley Quinn, as well as movies revolving around narratives of other heroes such as commemorative editions of Wonder Woman and Justice League: The New Frontier. The 32-disc box set will also include all five “DC Showcase” animated short: The Spectre, Green Arrow, Jonah Hex, Catwoman, and Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam.

The details of the special features will be announced later this summer. Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing had this to say:

It’s been an amazing journey from the initial concept of bringing comic book pages to screen to the completion of 30 animated films spotlighting the mesmerizing characters and stories of the DC library. We are proud to celebrate this first decade of filmmaking with an impressive box set filled with exciting extras beyond these stunning films themselves.
