Good Citizens Of Los Angeles Pay Tribute To Adam West

A fitting tribute to the iconic Batman, Adam West. The country weeps, but beautifully, LA’s Mayor, Eric Garcetti and the LA Police Department Chief, Charlie Beck, are set to light the Bat-Signal in honor of our beloved Batman TV Series star.

A surprise Bat-guest will be joining the two for the ceremonial lighting of the Bat-signal at City Hall this Thursday evening, June 15th. The star of Batman, a series which ran from 1966-68, had passed away last Friday, June 9th. In remembrance of West’s Bright Knight, Mayer Garcetti and Cheif Beck will light the Bat-signal which will be projected onto the tower of Los Angeles City Hall at Spring Street. A perfect city for Batman; its skyline compares to Gotham’s. Bat-fans are invited to don their Bat-suits and prepare their utility belts in honor of West’s remarkable vigilante skills.

Details of the event are as follows:

When: Thursday, June 15th at 9:00 PM PST

Where:  Los Angeles City Hall, Spring Street Steps: 200 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012

For fans who are unable to join, the West family encourages Adam’s “old chums” to make a donation to the Adam West Memorial Fund for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Idaho-based charity for children diagnosed with cancer and their families, Camp Rainbow Gold. Support a real-life Bruce Wayne’s cause.

Farewell, Bright Knight.
