Fan-Made ‘The Batman’ Poster Features Jared Leto’s Joker

With Patty Jenkins’ wonderful Wonder Woman hitting theatres this weekend to an extremely warm reception, the future of the DCEU looks brighter than ever. Making our excitement for the upcoming solo Batman movie that much more palpable. Unfortunately, since Matt Reeves took on the role of director, we haven’t heard a whole lot coming from that camp aside from the fact that he will have creative control. Even more disconcerting is that though originally Joe Manganiello was confirmed for Deathstroke, he doesn’t seem so sure now.

While we await more news regarding Batfleck’s solo film, we can have a little fun, can’t we? In the wake of digital media, skilled artists have oftentimes created some breathtaking fan art and my favorites, personally, are the movie posters. Sometimes, those movie posters end up looking better than the actual theatrical poster itself.

Will there be blood?

British artist MessyPandas took to Twitter to showcase this badass poster for The Batman:

Overall, the poster is pretty incredible and features a more terrifying Joker, likely due to the fact that most of his facial tattoos have been removed altogether. Overall, a pretty spectacular image that could easily become iconic if it WB were to come up with something similar to that for their official poster.

My only gripe is that the title treatment should not have been dripping from the blood. It may have looked better in the Batarang itself.

Check out the rest of Messypandas’ DC-related works over at his website.

What do you think? Have any awesome fan-made posters to share?
