Affleck To Talk Batman On Red Nose Day

Batman is changing his suit, and for the greater good.

Ben Affleck is set to appear on NBC’s Red Nose Day Special later this month, and will discuss how fun it is to play the Dark Knight… all in his Batman voice. No cape. No cowl. Just his voice.

The actor spoke with People Magazine about the upcoming special, and his take on the character.

“Batman is such a serious, heavy character, there is the temptation to be funny about it, or at least self-aware. I really enjoy it. Obviously, it is a character that means a lot to a lot of people and I’m having fun playing it.

The main takeaway here of course is the point behind Red Nose Day, which helps fight child poverty around the world. NBC is airing three specials on May 25th, all centered around raising awareness and money for the charities.

Affleck, meanwhile, is set to return to the big screen in full cape and cowl this November in Justice League. However, you may want to see Wonder Woman in a few weeks, I feel like he may be lingering in the shadows.
