Junkie XL and Gary Clark Jr. ‘Come Together’ For ‘Justice League’

In the Justice League trailer, a rock cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together” was played over the superhero team-up teaser.

Well, Batman v Superman‘s composer Junkie XL and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. created the rock edition exclusively for the trailer. Junkie XL a.k.a. Tom Holkenborg doubles as an electronic producer and film composer. Junkie XL made the metallic sheen and industrial rock quality of the trailer’s rendition of “Come Together.” Clark Jr. contributed to the cover’s guitar shredding.

What are the possible implications?

While it is pretty neat to that they made an entirely new cover exclusively for the Justice League, one wonders if it will be in the movie itself. Also, will Junkie XL’s have some involvement for the film’s score? His “Wonder Woman Theme” is easily the best part of Batman v Superman‘s soundtrack. Check out the Justice League trailer again and listen to their version of “Come Together” blaring in the background.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
