Fans of Fox’s crime drama, Gotham, have been eagerly awaiting since January 30 for the series to continue it’s third season. So far, only 14 episodes have aired from the season’s planned 22 episode run. Separation anxiety from die hard Gotham fans increases with each passing day. Anticipation skyrocketed further when it was revealed that Game of Thrones actor, Alexander Siddig, will portray the iconic Batman villain, Ra’s al Ghul.
Thankfully Gotham fans can rest a little easy now, thanks to a certain cast member. Carmen Bicondova, who plays the teenage Selina Kyle, has taken to Twitter to finally provide the information fans have been desperately yearning for.
Yes, from March 14 it will be approximately six weeks and one day until Gotham returns on April 24.
The second half of season 3 will be offering fans some truly exciting character arcs and opening the door for new, thrilling stories. Aside from the inclusion of Alexander Siddig’s Ra’Al Ghul, season 3 will also follow Edward Nygma’s dark path to becoming The Riddler.
The episode, aptly named “How the Riddler Got His Name”, will start off season three’s latter portion and will certainly have fans sitting on the edge of their seats.
