There are superhumans, gods, and monsters constantly fighting and destroying cities, but you’re just trying to beat traffic to get to your 9-5. Well, this is the life NBC’s upcoming sitcom Powerless is trying to depict.
Powerless follows Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) as the Director of Research & Development at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, that specializes on products for ordinary humans who are poised to be victims of the battles between superheroes and supervillains. NBC recently released a new teaser promo for the show, which you can watch below:
The cast also includes Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Danny Pudi (Community), and Christina Kirk (Along Came Polly). The first comedy from DC Comics is set to debut on NBC on Thursday, February 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
